CHANDIGARH POLICE NABBED YOUTH FROM YAMUNANAGAR WITH 202 GRAMME HEROIN

As per directions of Ms Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT, Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Sh Anurag Daru, W/S.P/City Chandigarh and under the supervision of Sh Dhiraj Kumar D.A.N.I.P.S, SDPO/South West a team of officials of Police Station, Sector-39, Chandigarh headed by Insp. J.P. Singh, SHO/PS-39, got major success by arresting accused namely Sahil S/o Sanjeev Kumar R/o Village Sandhay Distt. Yamunanagar (HR) Age- 19 yrs in Case FIR No. 144 Dt. 30.08.2026 u/s 21 NDPS Act, PS 39 Chandigarh.

The case was registered on the complaint of SI Karan Singh 1565/CHG, PS-39, Chd. He reported that on 30.08.26 at about 7.45 PM, he along with police party apprehended a person namely Sahil S/o Sanjeev Kumar R/o Village Sandhay Distt. Yamunanagar (HR) Age- 19 yrs from near Bus stop Sec 38 and recovered 202 grams Heroin/Chitta from his possession without any license or permit.

During the course investigation, accused Sahil S/o Sanjeev Kumar R/o Village Sandhay Distt. Yamunanagar (HR) Age- 19 yrs was arrested on 30.08.2026 accordingly. Accused Sahil produced before Hon’ble court where he was remanded to police custody for one day.
