Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed Khelo India Dialogue via video conferencing. The programme aimed to help the youth engage with India’s sporting journey, share their aspirations, and contribute ideas for a stronger youth-led Viksit Bharat.
Organised by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), as part of the National Sports Day 2026 celebrations, the programme was hosted at district level by DAV College Abohar.
On this occasion, oath was also administered to the students under the drug de-addiction campaign. International Para badminton player Sanjeev Kumar shared his sporting life experiences. He inspired students to make regular exercise and sports a part of life. Boxer Anishka’s gold medal achievement in Boxing in the National Games was also praised during the programme.
Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan said that sports develop team spirit and leadership abilities in students. NSS in-charge Sanjeev Kumar Gumber, Dr. Anupal, Dr. Ashutosh, Pooja Sharma, NSS volunteers and NCC cadets, B.P.Ed students participated enthusiastically and made the event a success. Those present included Dr. Kiran Grover, Dr. Suresh Sharma and Dr. Sonika Narang.
