AMAN ANAND RAJ AMBEDKAR EXPRESSES CONCERN OVER CURRENT ORGANIZATIONAL STATUS OF SC, ST, AND OBC COMMUNITIES

A significant meeting on reservation and representation of Other Backward Classes (OBC) was held under the अध्यक्षता of Balwinder Singh Multani, President of OBC Federation (North Zone). Advocate Aman Anand Raj Ambedkar was specially present at the meeting.
Various issues concerning the OBC community were discussed in detail, and several key demands were raised. These included implementation of OBC reservation in higher educational institutions of Chandigarh as per Supreme Court orders, implementation of OBC reservation in Panjab University, increasing OBC reservation in Punjab up to 27%, raising reservation in Punjab Panchayats from 3% to 27%, and ensuring OBC reservation in municipalities, district councils, and block committees.
Balwinder Singh Multani apprised the gathering about the efforts and achievements of the OBC Federation in securing the rights and representation of the community.
On this occasion, Aman Anand Raj Ambedkar expressed concern over the current organizational status of SC, ST, and OBC communities. He emphasized the urgent need for strong leadership and wider mass mobilization to ensure the realization of constitutional rights and effective implementation of reservation policies.
The meeting was attended by Professor Ashok Kumar, Kapoor Singh (former SDM, Life Insurance Corporation of India), Dr. Kulwinder Singh, Sarabjit Singh Lahri, Ranjit Singh Jassal, along with several other OBC activists.
The meeting concluded with a resolve to strengthen collective efforts to ensure equal representation for marginalized communities—especially SCs, STs, and OBCs.
