DEMOLITION ACTION BY CHB KEPT IN ABEYANCE PENDING COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS

In view of the large number of representations being received from time to time regarding regularization of changes made by allottees in the construction designs of their dwelling units and additional constructions carried out by them, the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) had constituted a committee under the Chairmanship of the Chief Executive Officer, CHB, with the approval of the Hon’ble Administrator, UT Chandigarh vide Order dated 11.05.2026.

It has now been decided that demolitions based on the already issued notices shall be kept in abeyance till finalization of the recommendations of the committee.
