Shri Arut ji Maharaj Jayanti was celebrated here at the recently developed memorial near the Abha Square. The beautiful memorial has cost Rs 20 lakh.
The statue of Shri Arut ji Maharaj was unveiled by Sumedha Kataria, former Deputy Commissioner from Haryana who belonged to Abohar.
She said that Arut ji Maharaj called for the upliftment of the society along with personal development and did a historical work of empowering it. It is also the responsibility of all of us to prepare an organized action plan for the under-privileged people so that the dreams of the great promoters of Arora community can be realized.
Her family has set up Samarth Old Age Home in Nai Abadi for the elderly and planned to develop an Orphanage soon for Children also.
Trust president Vipan Nagpal thanked the donors for their valuable cooperation.Trustees Anil Nagpal, Naresh Khurana andPraveen Chawla welcomed the guests. Major contribution was also made for the project by MD Hiteshi Lajwanti Foundation.
MLA Sandeep Jakhar, former MLAs Arun Narang and Mohinder Rinwa, SAD national vice president Rajindra Deepa, Mayor Vimal Thatai, AAP leader Pankaj Narula and North India Arorvansh Sabha's state president Satyendra Kathuria garlanded the statue of Shri Arut JI Maharaj and congratulated Arorvansh Charitable Trust for developing one of the biggest memorials in the region.
