Raj Sadosh/Abohar.

An incident of drug peddler allegedly luring four minor children and feeding them banned Pregabalin capsules has come to light in village Nihalkhera, 10 km from Abohar. When the condition of the minors deteriorated, they were admitted to the Civil Hospital Abohar by their family members for treatment.

According to the information, the families of four children aged 12-15 year said that last night their children had gone to a Jagran being organized in the village itself, where according to the children, a suspected drug peddler, came and allegedly gave Pregabalin capsules to them and said that they should eat one capsule each as it will help them in not falling asleep. Heeded by his words, his children took one capsule each. When they felt a little high, their health started deteriorating. After which the family got them admitted to the hospital early this morning. Out of the four minors, one child is undergoing treatment in the village while three children are admitted in the Civil Hospital here.
