Era Gupta has brought laurels to the ‘ Adharshila’ family by securing admission to the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. She has been selected for the Management Programme for Family Business (MFAB). Previously, her brother, Akash Gupta, was selected for the MBA program at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi. Having members of the same family selected for two of the country’s prestigious management institutes is considered a rare and inspiring achievement.
Era is the daughter of Rajiv Gupta, Director of Adharshila School, and Anamika Gupta, the Education Director. ISB Hyderabad ranks among the country’s top business schools, and its admission process is known to be highly competitive. Candidates have to clear several rigorous stages—such as the Business Aptitude Test (BAT), creative writing, and personal interviews—all of which Ira successfully completed. Her achievements do not stop there; she was also selected for the NSRCEL Women Start-up Program (pre-incubation and incubation) at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore, which is counted among the nation’s leading entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives. Additionally, she received an admission offer—accompanied by an attractive scholarship—for the Entrepreneurship and Innovation program at the Schulich School of Business, York University, Canada. However, prioritizing her dream institution, she decided to enrol at ISB Hyderabad.
