FANS CELEBRATE ABOHAR MLA’S BIRTHDAY DURING ELECTION CAMPAIGN

Face2News/Abohar.

Advancing towards the May 26 polling for 50 wards of the Abohar Municipal Corporation, political parties have intensified the election campaign. While Bhartiya Janta Party and Aam Aadmi Party have fielded their candidates in all the 50 wards, Congress and SAD are marking their presence in about 30 wards each. Nomination papers of 8 Congress candidates and 6 of SAD nominees had been rejected even as both the parties could not put up their candidates in all the wards.

MLA Sandeep Jakhar is the star campaigner who addresses ward-level meetings and door-to-door campaigns. His fans celebrated his birthday by arranging cake and sweets during the election campaign in a ward, without informing him in advance. He enjoyed this pleasant surprise and thanked the enthusiastic volunteers who were working hard to retain the hold in the MC after May 26. The MLA and former Mayor

Vimal Thatai tell people about the neglect of Abohar town in development by the AAP-led government. They assert that AAP has no moral right to seek votes for their candidates.
