FIVE PUNJAB POLICE OFFICIALS TO BE AWARDED CHIEF MINISTER’S RAKSHAK PADAK 

20 PUNJAB POLICE OFFICIALS TO BE CONFERRED WITH CHIEF MINISTER’S MEDAL FOR OUTSTANDING DEVOTION TO DUTY,  DGP GAURAV YADAV THANKED CM BHAGWANT SINGH MANN LED PUNJAB GOVT FOR RECOGNISING SERVICES OF THE PUNJAB POLICE

On the recommendations of the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government, the Governor of Punjab announced the names of the Punjab Police officers/officials, to be awarded the Chief Minister’s Rakshak Padak award and Chief Minister’s Medal for Outstanding Devotion to Duty on the occasion of Independence Day-2026.

Senior Constable Lovepreet Singh, Constable Bobby Kumar, Lady Constable Charanjit, Lady Constable Mamta Rani and Senior Constable Angrej Singh have been nominated for Chief Minister’s Rakshak Padak award.

Similarly, three PPS officers, including SP Investigation Khanna Pawanjit, SP SPU Punjab Surendra Singh, DSP CID Unit Ludhiana Ashwani Kumar, are among the 20 officers/officials, who have been selected for the Chief Minister’s Medal for Outstanding Devotion to Duty. The remaining officials include Inspector Rajesh Kumar, Inspector Gurmeet Singh, Inspector Davinder Singh, Inspector Satpal, Inspector Harshjot Kaur Lady Sub-Inspector Inderjit Kaur, SI Sandeep Kumar, SI Karamjit Singh, SI Baldev Singh, SI Sukhwinder Singh, ASI Yadwinder Singh, ASI Narinder Sidhu, ASI Navtej Singh, ASI Jatinder Singh, Senior Constable Amanpreet Singh, Senior Constable Ramanpreet Singh and Senior Constable Amardeep Singh.

Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Gaurav Yadav congratulated the awardees and thanked Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann for recognising the services of the Punjab Police officers/officials. He said that such recognitions play a significant role in encouraging the Police force to work with more dedication and devotion.
