The Jurists Wing of the Brahma Kumaris organized a national conference on the theme of “Value-Based Justice.” The conference in Mt Abu was attended by honourable judges, senior advocates, and distinguished luminaries from the legal fraternity, hailing from every corner of the country.
Justice B.D. Rathi stated that in the current global landscape, world transformation is possible only through self-transformation.
B.K. Rashmi Ojha clarified that value-based justice is that which emanates from the inner voice of the human conscience.
The Chief Guest, Justice Gurpal Singh Ahluwalia of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, described “Value-Based Justice” as the most critical and pressing subject of our times. He remarked that if values are stripped away from truth, it ceases to be truth and becomes falsehood. He further clarified that while the physical body and the subtle body (the mind and intellect) are distinct entities, the human being—the soul—exists beyond both, as pure consciousness. It is only when a person removes the “dark glasses” of malice, hatred, and envy that they will be able to perceive the absolute truth.
Sudesh Didi asserted that spirituality alone liberates the soul from its bondage; furthermore, by remaining steadfast in one’s *Swadharma* (inherent righteous nature), one’s actions can never go astray.
Karuna Bhai, General Secretary of the Brahma Kumaris, said that the Supreme Soul has established a single universal law for the entire creation: the ‘Principle of Karma.’ We must, therefore, always engage in noble and virtuous actions.
BK Lata, BK Pushpa, BK Rohini, BK Rajveer were among other speakers.
