To commemorate World Environment Day, Vinod Kiroriwal, along with his daughter Riya, planted 21 shade-giving and eco-friendly saplings on the campus of Government Senior Secondary Smart School, village Danger Khera. The plantation drive was organised to promote environmental conservation and inspire the community to contribute towards a greener and healthier future.
An awareness session was also held highlighting the importance of environmental protection, afforestation, and sustainable living. Joining the plantation campaign were Vinod Kiroriwal, his daughter Riya, and his nephew Pawan, members of the school staff including Rajinder Kumar, Roshan Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Vinod Kumar (Campus Manager), Satpal (Security Incharge), and caretaker Dalip Kumar.
Vinod Kiroriwal said, “Protecting the environment is not merely a one-day campaign but a lifelong responsibility for every individual. If each person plants a few trees every year and takes responsibility for their care, future generations will inherit a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment.” School principal Dharam Pal Jalap has thanked Kiroriwal family for their commendable efforts. He described the plantation drive as a significant step towards environmental conservation and praised the family’s commitment to spreading awareness about the importance of preserving nature.
