Gurnam Sidhu, famous as Gama Sidhu also, a prominent social worker from Ferozepur, has been honoured with the National Excellence Award 2026 in recognition of his contributions to social service at a prestigious ceremony held at the Constitution Club in New Delhi.

The award was presented during a national-level event jointly organised by the Ambedkar Global Foundation, All India Youth Federation and the National Youth Awardees Federation of India.
