HIGH COURT ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE ADMINISTERED OATH TO TWO PERMANENT JUDGES

Kulbir Singh Kalsi/Chandigarh/Mohali,

Acting Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra, on Monday administered oath to two permanent  Judges, Mr. Justice H.S. Grewal and Mr. Justice Deepinder Singh Nalwa .

The oath Swearing-in Ceremony of  Permanent Judges of Punjab And Haryana High Court Chandigarh were performed in presence of High Court Judges and  Advocates.

Lawyers and the general public were demanding to  increase in the number of judges to ensure faster disposal of cases. The latest appointments are expected to help reduce pendency and ensure more timely justice for litigants.
