HIMACHAL ROAD ACCIDENT: 13 DIES, CM, MINISTERS MOURN

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed deep grief over the death of 13 people in a tragic road accident at Karunala in Lahaul-Spiti district.

The victims were travelling from Kullu to Pangi when the accident occurred. The Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner of Lahaul-Spiti to immediately reach the accident site and oversee relief and rescue operations. He also instructed officials to ensure all possible assistance to the bereaved families and provide the best medical treatment to the injured.

The Chief Minister prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls, strength to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Education Minister Rohit Thakur also expressed profound sorrow over the tragedy. Extending his condolences to the affected families, he said the state government stands firmly with them in this difficult time. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and for peace to the departed souls.

Tribal Development Minister Jagat Singh Negi also condoled the loss of lives in the accident, describing it as deeply tragic. He assured that the government is standing with the affected families and prayed for peace to the departed souls, strength to the bereaved families, and the early recovery of those injured.
