HUNDREDS PAY TRIBUTE TO SENIOR ENT SURGEON DR. GIAN SINGH

Hundreds of people from all walks of life on Wednesday paid tribute to senior ENT surgeon Dr. Gian Singh during the Antim Ardas at Gurudwara Nanaksar Tobha here.

Those present included retired and serving officers, doctors, educationists, businessmen, media persons, representatives of social and religious organisations, some of them had come from various areas of the state besides UT Chandigarh. Old-time colleagues recalled that Dr. Gian Singh was known as one of the favourite ENT Surgeons as well as finest Senior Medical Officer serving at the Civil Hospital here. Dr. Gian Singh had been actively associated with public welfare activities including free medical camps organised by NGOs.

The visitors offered rose flower petals with reverence to the portrait of Dr. Gian Singh and expressed sympathies with his sons Dr. Paramjit Singh, Dr. M. M. Singh, daughters-in-law Dr. Jagdish Kaur, Dr. Kavita Singh Civil Surgeon Fazilka, daughters Ravinder Kaur, Anupam Rosy, sons-in-law Harjinder Singh and Surinder Singh. Prayer for the peace to the departed soul was offered on the occasion. Guru-ka-Langar was also served.
