JOURNALISTS FORUM, CHANDIGARH TO HOLD INTERACTION WITH PUNJAB GOVERNOR SHRI GULAB CHAND KATARIA ON JUNE 20

 The Senior Journalists Forum, Chandigarh (SJFC) is set to organize an interactive session between its office bearers and members and the Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Gulab Chand Kataria, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Punjab Lok Bhawan.

The interaction aims to provide a meaningful platform for senior journalists to engage with the Governor on issues of public importance, governance, media, development initiatives, and matters concerning Punjab and Chandigarh. The event is expected to foster constructive dialogue and strengthen the relationship between the media fraternity and constitutional authorities.

The Senior Journalists Forum, Chandigarh, comprising experienced media professionals from various print, electronic, and digital platforms, has consistently worked towards promoting professional excellence, ethical journalism, and informed public discourse.

According to Forum President Jagtar Singh Sidhu, the interaction will offer members an opportunity to exchange views with the Governor on contemporary issues and gain insights into ongoing administrative and developmental priorities.

Forum Chairman A.S. Prashar stated that the event reflects the Forum’s commitment to encouraging meaningful engagement between policymakers and the media. General Secretary Kewal Bharti informed that all necessary arrangements have been made for the successful conduct of the programme.

Following the interaction, a high tea will be hosted for the participants.The Senior Journalists Forum has invited its members and office bearers to participate in large numbers and make the event a productive and memorable occasion.
