KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS OBSERVED BY 25 PUNJAB BATTALION NCC CADETS

Approximately 150 cadets drawn from various institutions under the Battalion, along with 10 Associate NCC Officers/Caretaker Officers and six Permanent Instructional Staff, actively participated in the commemorative events under the guidance of Col Rajeev Sirohi, Commanding Officer of 25 Punjab Battalion NCC, Abohar.

The programme featured a poster-making competition that showcased the creative expression of the cadets, insightful lectures on the gallant battle heroes of the Kargil conflict, and a solemn tribute to the martyrs through the observance of two minutes’ silence.

Through their enthusiastic involvement, the NCC cadets not only reaffirmed their commitment to the ideals of courage, sacrifice and national service but also played a meaningful role in awakening and strengthening patriotic sentiments among the youth and the wider community. Such initiatives serve to inspire collective respect for the armed forces and reinforce the values of unity and nationhood among the masses.
