KS KANG, OTHER DIGNITARIES PAY TRIBUTE TO VETERAN SOCIAL ACTIVIST

Retired IAS officer Kulbir Singh Kang was among the dignitaries who attended the Shradhanjali Sabha organised at Sangam Place here to pay tributes to Ramesh Chander Bajaj.

Amritvani Satsang was also organized on the occasion. Ramesh Chander Bajaj had retired as Superintendent from SDM office Abohar. He was one of the senior social activists who served the society through NGOs including Punjabi Sabhyachar Manch, Social Welfare Society and Senior Citizens Association.

Those who offered flowers to his portrait included former judge Roshan Lal Ahuja, Punjab Haryana High Court Bar Council member DP Randhawa, MLA Sandeep Jakhar, former MLA Mohinder Rinwa, councillor Naresh Wadhwa, Bar Association Abohar president Prakash Singh Brar and others.

KS Kang, who had served at Abohar, Amritsar and Patiala, said that the death of Ramesh Chander Bajaj is an irreparable loss to the society. He said that his thoughts are with the deceased’s son Advocate Sandeep Bajaj and the entire Bajaj family in this difficult time.
