LARGE NUMBER OF LEADERS AND SUPPORTERS JOIN CONGRESS IN MANIMAJRA

LEADERS AND HUNDREDS OF SUPPORTERS ENROLL IN CONGRESS UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF ASIF CHAUDHARY

A large number of leaders and hundreds of supporters from Manimajra joined the Congress party today under the guidance of Shri Imran Pratapgarhi, National Chairman, AICC Minority Department and Rajya Sabha MP; Shri Manish Tewari, Member of Parliament; and Chandigarh Congress President Shri H.S. Lucky. The joining programme was held under the leadership of Mohammad Asif Chaudhary, Chairman, Chandigarh Congress Minority Department.

The newly joined leaders and supporters were warmly welcomed by senior Congress leaders and office-bearers.
The event was attended by Pradesh General Secretary Wasim Mir, Jamal Din, Pradesh Vice Chairman Mohammad Shamim, Pradesh Secretary Imran Mansoori, Mohammad Dilshad, Mohammad Usman, Mohammad Shabban Sheikh, and several other Congress leaders.

Among those who joined the Congress were Mohammad Usman and Farhan Mirza, along with Akram Khan, Nadeem Ahmed, Jahangir, Mahfooz, Arsh, Aqib Nawab, Sajid, Mohsin, Zeeshan, Abrar, Shalim, Shareem, Mujahid, Fazil, Umar, Ikram Khan, Irfan, Mohammad Saif, Bittu, Azim, Adil Ahmed, Kaif, Mohammad Sadiq, Nadeem Azim, Haji Mohammad Shamim, Mohammad Arif, Arsh, Shabban, Salim Ali and Akmal, besides a large number of supporters.

Asif Chaudhary Says Public Trust in Congress Policies Continues to Grow

Welcoming all the new members, Mohammad Asif Chaudhary said that the large-scale joining of people in Manimajra reflects the growing confidence of the public in the policies and leadership of the Congress party.
He said, “Congress has always believed in taking every section of society along. Our objective is not only to strengthen the organisation but also to raise the voice of common people and highlight their issues effectively. The joining of a large number of young people and social workers today has given new energy and strength to the Congress organisation in Manimajra.”

Asif Chaudhary said that Congress welcomes every individual who believes in the Constitution, democracy, brotherhood and social justice. He added that in the coming days, efforts would be made to strengthen the party organisation and its outreach at every ward and booth in Manimajra.

He appealed to the newly joined members to work together, reach out to the people and raise local issues on a priority basis. He expressed confidence that more people from Manimajra would join the Congress in the coming days.
The newly joined leaders and supporters expressed their faith in the ideology and leadership of the Congress party and pledged to strengthen the organisation and work actively on issues concerning public welfare.
