MATESHWARI JAGDAMBA SARASWATI’S MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVED AS ‘SPIRITUAL KNOWLEDGE DAY’

The 61st Memorial Day of Mateshwari Jagdamba Saraswati (Mamma), the first Chief Administrator of the Brahma Kumaris organization, was observed as ‘Spiritual Knowledge Day’ at the local Rajyoga Center. In-charge BK Pushplata said that “Mamma” always used to say, “Every moment is the final moment”; consequently, she remained constantly alert and accurate”.

Chief guest, former Mayor, Vimal Thatai, remarked that Jagdamba Saraswati led a life of great simplicity and greatness. She was a remarkable example of woman power. We must follow her teachings.

Highlighting the life of Amritsar-born Jagdamba Saraswati as an embodiment of power, Rajyoga teacher BK Sunita noted that she possessed all virtues and was the embodiment of a Goddess in human form. Raj Sadosh, President, Lekhak Parishad, said that at Mount Abu, Jagdamba Saraswati set an example of extraordinary vision and operational capability in managing the organization’s services.

Among those who paid floral tributes to the portrait of Jagdamba Saraswati—were BK Darshana, BK Shalu, Dr. Kanchan Khurana, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. Ritu Gupta, Advocate Ramesh Kumar Sharma, retired ITO Balram Singla, among others. Those present pledged to realize the vision of transforming the world through self-transformation by following the ideals of Jagdamba Saraswati. Citing the message from Madhuban, everyone was encouraged to observe austerity, use less fuel and buy fewer imported goods.
