MEENA TRIBAL WELFARE ASSOCIATION CELEBRATED WORLD ADIVASI DAY

Mr. Mahendra Singh Meena, Assistant Commissioner (Assistant Commissioner) who is also Protection of Institution (PATRON) was present as the chief guest in the program.

Grand walkathon and tribal rights message The day started with a walkathon organized from Sukhna Lake to Rose Garden, in which about 100 to 150 people enthusiastically participated and gave a strong message of saving tribal rights through this time. The main attraction of the event was around 70 Meena tribal women of the organization, who displayed their rich cultural heritage by wearing their traditional costumes, especially “Pedhi Lugdi”.

Plantation campaign (50 saplings planted): After the walk, the members of the organization planted 50 saplings in the PGI sports ground with the aim of keeping the environment green.

Blood donation camp (70 units of blood donation): After this, a total of 70 units of blood donation were collected in the blood donation camp organized at PGI Blood Donation Hall, presenting an example of social service.

Bhagwat Prasad Meena President Meena Tribal Welfare Association expressed his feelings in his words, World Tribal Day is not only a celebration of our culture and identity but also a symbol of our responsibility towards the constitutional protection and symbol of the rights of the tribal society. Through this event today, we want to protect the tribal rights, save the environment, give a message of peace, harmony and social unity. The program concluded with a vote of thanks to all the participants, volunteers and the medical team of PGI, with the help of which the event was very successful.
