MESSAGE OF HEALTHY LIFE GIVEN THROUGH YOGA ON WORLD YOGA DAY

On the occasion of World Yoga Day, a special yoga program was organized by Patel Park Sudhar Sabha at Patel Park on Sunday morning. People participated enthusiastically and took a pledge to stay healthy through yoga.

Yoga experts Dr. Pal Madan and Navinder Kamboj performed various yoga asanas. While giving information to the participants about the correct technique of doing yoga, they said that regular yoga practice not only keeps the body healthy but also reduces mental stress.

Both of them threw light on the importance of Yoga and said that Yoga is a priceless gift of our ancient culture. In today’s busy life, a person can avoid many types of physical and mental problems by making yoga a part of his daily routine. Explaining the benefits of various asanas, he inspired everyone to do yoga regularly. People experienced positive energy through the pranayama, asana and meditation exercises conducted by the yoga instructors. From children to the elderly, everyone enthusiastically participated in the yoga activities.

During the program, arrangements for light refreshments were made by the Patel Park Sudhar Sabha. Anuj Dhawan, President of the Sabha, thanked all the participants, yoga experts and members who cooperated. Councillor Vijay Chhabra was present in the program, he praised the event.
