NGO TAMMANA CONDUCTS PERIOD CRAMP EXPERIENCE IN COLLABORATION WITH OSL, THE UNFILTERED CLUB

Face2News/Chandigarh

NGO Tammana conducted Event 176 in collaboration with OSL, The Unfiltered Club, Chitkara University, as an experiential awareness initiative focused on menstrual health, empathy building, and breaking social taboos.

Office Coordinator Meenakshi Mahajan shared that the period cramp experience witnessed an overwhelming response with over 230+ participants and active engagement.

Isha Kakaria, Founder & President stated, “The students did not just learn about period pain. They felt it. And that changes everything. It is the empathy that comes from experience, not just awareness or explanation. The program focused on breaking taboos around menstrual health and creating space for open, uncomfortable but necessary conversations.’’

Neha Joshi SPOC of the event noted that the event was executed with structured coordination and smooth on-ground participation. Volunteers Naveen Pabreja, Saurabh Gulati, and Arzoo supported the execution and facilitation of the session.
