The sleuths belonging to Punjab police have nabbed two snatchers and have recovered 9 mobile phones , two motorbikes and one Activa bike from them.
While giving details, ASI Ayuub Masih said that following the inputs, a trap had been laid near the city area during which the accused identified as Deepak alias Deepu, Paramjeet alias Govinda and Sumit alias Rohit, all residents of city area were nabbed.
ASI said that all the accused had been involved in anti-social activities and were planning a robbery. He sai d that all these accused have been booked under sections 304, 303 (2) of BNS at city police station.
10 BOOKED UNDER ARMS ACT IN ZIRA
In another case, the police arrested 10 persons for allegedly attacking a house in Zira city area. As per information, the accused identified as Sukhpreet Singh alias Sukh, Ashok Kumar, Gagandeep Singh, Jaspreet Kaur, Karan alias Deeka, Fouji, Shiva, Sunny, Raman and Gourav attacked on the house of Jashandeep Singh resident of Basti Machhian in Zira city area with bricks and also fired rounds in the air.
The accused have been booked under sections 125,190,191 (3), 351 (3) of BNS and sections 25,54,59 of Arms Act at Zira City police station (FIR No. 149)
