The Punjab Government has declared a public holiday on Monday, June 29, 2026, on the occasion of Sant Kabir Jayanti. An official notification has been issued, and all government offices and institutions across the state will remain closed on the day.
Sant Kabir Jayanti is celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm across Punjab and other parts of the country. Various religious and cultural events, including Naam Kirtan, processions (Rath Yatras), and community feasts (Bhandaras), will be organized to mark the birth anniversary of the revered saint.
