PUNJAB PLAYERS EXCEL AT 28TH SENIOR NATIONAL TENNIS VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Players from Punjab brought glory to the state with their outstanding performance at the 28th Senior National Tennis Volleyball Championship held in Himachal Pradesh. Amidst fierce competition, the Punjab girls’ team showcased exceptional skill, securing third place and winning the bronze medal. The mixed doubles team made an impressive run to the quarter-finals, while the boys’ team also demonstrated their remarkable sporting talent on the court.

Ankit Jain, President of the Fazilka Tennis Volleyball Association, said that teams from Punjab participated in all three categories of the competition. The boys’ team was led by captain Rajesh Kumar, with Sumant Kumar, Arvind Kumar, Daksh, Lalit, and Kartikeya as team members. The bronze medal-winning girls’ team was led by captain Neha, with Jagdeep Kaur, Jaspreet Kaur, Mamta, Khushvir Kaur and Daljit Kaur showcasing their excellent sporting abilities. In the mixed doubles category, captain Nitesh and Sushma Yadav represented the state and reached the quarter-finals.

The Punjab Tennis Volleyball Association has congratulated the players and their coaches. Association General Secretary Shriram Saraswa, Team Manager Rajesh and Coach Kamini remarked that such an outstanding performance on the national stage reflects the rising standard of sports in Punjab.
