RAJAN ZED EXTENDS BLESSINGS ON NIRJALA EKADASHI

NIRJALA EKADASHI FALLS ON JUNE 25

Face2News/Nevada

Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has extended his warmest greetings and heartiest blessings to the global Hindu community on the auspicious occasion of Nirjala Ekadashi.

Nirjala Ekadashi is the highly sacred and especially rigorous Hindu waterless fast of profound spiritual significance in honor of Lord Vishnu to seek spiritual purification and divine blessings, which falls on June 25 this year.

Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism and an interfaith leader, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, called upon the about 1.2 billion strong Hindu community worldwide to embrace the spirit of compassion, discipline, and inner purification of this sacred and austere observance.

May Lord Vishnu bless all devotees on this occasion with joy, peace, prosperity, purification of body and mind, renewed spiritual energy, self-control, and spiritual enlightenment and fulfillment; Rajan Zed noted.

Zed encouraged Hindus to mark the fast with acts of seva (selfless and meaningful service), contributing positively to society, cultivating inner strength, deepening spiritual connection, intense prayer, meditation, practicing compassion, reflection on the higher purpose of life, and self-reflection.

Rajan Zed further emphasized the importance of passing down the timeless relevance of Hindu teachings; and the inner meanings, rich traditions, and values of Hindu festivals to younger generations.

Zed, who leads interfaith initiatives worldwide; urged devotees to use the occasion to promote greater harmony, mutual respect, peace, understanding; among people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and faiths. He added that values such as compassion, generosity, nonviolence, service to humanity, and truthfulness are especially meaningful during this sacred observance.

Extending his prayers for the well-being of all humanity; he hoped that the virtues of austerity, charity, and devotion practiced on this day would inspire a more harmonious and empathetic world. Global community should appreciate the rich spiritual traditions of Hinduism; which promote values such as non-violence, self-discipline, and universal welfare; Rajan Zed added.

True strength arises from devotion, righteous living, self‑control, and service. Use the Nirjala Ekadashi as a moment of recommitment and reflection to living with harmony, humility, and integrity; Zed points out.
