Renowned social activist Renu Agarwal was conferred with the “Unsung Everyday Heroes Award” on the occasion of Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s 70th birthday ceremony at Durgesh Palace in Sri Ganganagar. She received the award in the Business Woman and Philanthropy category.
The honour was presented to Renu Agarwal by Additional District Collector (Administration) Reena Chhimpa and Art of Living Sri Ganganagar Unit Coordinator Meetu Sharma. The Art of Living organization felicitated 10 individuals from various parts of Rajasthan for their outstanding work. Renu Agarwal was selected from Sri Ganganagar for this recognition.
Renu Agarwal runs an industrial unit in RIICO Industrial Area and is the Founder President of Radha Govind Foundation, National President of World Human Rights Organization, and President of Agarwal Mahila Chetna Samiti. She has successfully conducted numerous community development programmes related to blood donation, environmental conservation, women’s upliftment and empowerment, protection of women’s rights, social causes, and religious-cultural and spiritual activities. During the programme, the audience welcomed her with a standing ovation.
She said that this honour further motivates her and gives her new inspiration to advance in the field of social service. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Art of Living organization and congratulated the teams of all her institutions for their support in all the works
