SERVING HUMANITY SHOULD BE THE PRIMARY DUTY OF MANKIND: PRADEEP BATRA

Serving people wholeheartedly constitutes true service. Bringing relief to the distressed, feeding the hungry, and providing timely assistance to the needy is what service truly means. These sentiments were expressed by Pradeep Batra, the Minister for Information Technology and Good Governance of Uttarakhand.

While addressing a conference organized by the Social Service Wing of the Brahma Kumaris organization at Abu Road, he urged people to participate actively in these times, emphasizing that service is the greatest act of virtue.

BK Santosh Didi, Joint Chief Administrator of the Brahma Kumaris, said that the welfare of the soul should be our ultimate goal, as the erosion of moral values among people is a major cause of many problems. Whether or not one serves people through financial means, instilling noble values is the need of the hour.

General Secretary BK Karuna Bhai remarked that service to humanity is the supreme form of service. Randhir Panihar, MLA from Nalwa (Hisar), said that social service is synonymous with service to humanity and that people should help others selflessly. He noted that the definition of service has changed in current times and that we must move beyond the notion that service is merely about financial aid; true service lies in instilling noble values within an individual.

Wing’s Vice-Chairperson BK Prem, National Coordinator BK Avtar, Headquarters Coordinator BK Birendra, BK Shivlila (Gulbarga), BK Poonam (Chandigarh) and BK Asha (Khanpur, Delhi) also addressed. BK Vijayalakshmi from Dungarpur conducted the proceedings.
