A special training camp was organized at DAV College of Education here under the SIR programme in which BLOs, Supervisors and AEROs of the constituency participated.
During the training, the staff were given strict instructions that the entire work of SIR (Special Curricular Correction) should be completed on time ensuring complete transparency as per the ‘schedule’ set by the Election Commission. Sub-Divisional Magistrate Abohar-cum-Electoral Registration Officer Kirpal Veer Singh said that every employee should take this training seriously so that Door-to-Door (H2H) verification and BLO verification in the field is completed. There should not be any kind of technical problem or negligence while using the app (BLO App).
Training was imparted to the staff by Resource Persons – Amandeep, Gautam Gaur, Kapil, Lalit, Ranveer Singh and Anand Gaur. They explained in detail about enrolment of new voters (Form-6), deduction (Form-7) and correction of details (Form-8) as well as digital mapping and app sign-in processes.
Raj Kumar, Pawan Kumar and Rahul from the election office were present to ensure overall arrangements and smooth conduct of the training. Doubts and technical queries of the staff were also resolved by Gagandeep Kaur (BDPO Khuian Sarwar-cum-AERO 1 Abohar) and Avinash Chander (Naib Tehsildar, AERO 2 Abohar)
