The Congress party has announced its candidate for the Mayor’s post for the Municipal Corporation elections in Panchkula. The party incharge of Indian National Congress Mr. B.K. Hari Prasad approved the proposal of Smt. Sudha Bhardwaj w/o Sanjiv Bhardwaj of Panchkula , sent by high command , said Mr. Rao Narender Singh president of Haryana Pradesh Congress Commitee.
Following the announcement, enthusiasm was seen among party workers. Local Congress leaders stated that Sudha Bhardwaj is an experienced leader who has been actively working at the grassroots level, and her leadership is expected to strengthen the party’s position in the elections.
According to sources, the Congress high command finalized her name after considering several candidates. She is active in social media and she has more than 90 thousands followings .After receiving the ticket, she expressed gratitude to the party leadership and said that she will contest the elections focusing on development and public welfare issues.
