The MP from Sirsa, Former Union Minister, General Secretary of All India Congress Committee and CWC member, Kumari Selja on Tuesday accused the BJP government of injustice and discrimination against the youth.
Speaking to mediapersons during her visit to Sirsa, Selja said incidents of alleged NEET paper leaks and examination cancellations have once again proved that the BJP government has completely failed in managing the country’s examination system. She said Rahul Gandhi had repeatedly warned the nation about the dangers emerging in the system, and today the same concerns are visible across the country. Kumari Selja said the biggest question is who will take responsibility for repeated failures. Selja said the government cannot escape accountability every time by taking action only at lower levels. When the future of lakhs of young people is at stake, responsibility must be fixed at the highest level. She added that while the youth of the country are working hard, the BJP government is busy hiding its failures instead of improving the system.
Kumari Selja demanded that the government give priority to providing employment opportunities to unemployed youth. Among those present on the occasion were Shishpal Keharwala, MLA from Kalanwali, District President Santosh Beniwal, District President Mahila Congress Krishna Phogat, Veerbhan Mehta, Rajesh Chadiwal and Sandeep Nehra, along with several senior Congress leaders.

The Cancer patients across Haryana facing difficulties:-Kumari Selja
Kumari Selja said she has repeatedly raised the issue of the increasing spread of cancer in Haryana in the Lok Sabha, but alleged that the government continues to function in a denial mode.
Speaking to mediapersons at the Sirsa Rest House, Kumari Selja claimed that no concrete efforts are being made by the government to prevent the disease and that there appears to be no serious preparation even for conducting a comprehensive survey on the issue. She said that not only from Sirsa, but cancer patients from several other parts of Haryana are continuously coming forward with their grievances and health concerns. Highlighting the seriousness of the disease, Kumari Selja said the government should take effective steps on priority so that people can receive timely treatment and relief.
