Hundreds of Swamis, Parshads, Sadhaks and devotees enthusiastically participated in the Rathyatra organised by the BAPS at Sarangpur, known as tapobhoomi of spiritual leaders of the organisation.
Pujya Anandswarup incharge Akshardham Gandhinagar performed pujan of BAPS chief Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj. Senior Swamis Pujya Viveksagar Swami and Gnaneshwar Swami honored Swamishri with a garland. Yagneshwar Swami performed pujan of murtis. Youths performed a traditional dance in the Rathyatra procession. Flower petals were showered. Swamis chanted the Swaminarayan dhun during the Rathyatra. Devotees cleaned the passage for the procession. Swamis and devotees pulled the chariot of Swamishri. Swamishri operated the Rath with a remote control. Rathyatra also passed through Shri Yagnapurush Dwar. Swamishri unveiled the print publication and Audio Book ‘Brahmaswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj Jivan Charitra, ‘Bhagwan Swaminarayan Paramhans-Ratan. Swamishri blessed the assembly. Those present on the occasion are Brahmavihari Swami incharge of Abu Dhabi Mandir, veteran scholar Bhadresh Swami, Atamtript Swami incharge of Sarangpur Training Center, hundreds of Parshads, Sadhaks and thousands of devotees.
Mahant Swami Maharaj spoke about the glory and need of a true guru in life and on the path of spiritual sadhanas. He defined a true devotee as one who abides by moral instructions (Nityam), has faith (Nishchay) and stands up (paksha) for God, his Sant and devotees. Firstly, it is important to have a clear goal. Fix your goal with regards to doing bhajan, bhakti, satsang work or your social duties
