The building branch of the administration sealed the club of famous rapper Badshah in Sector 26, Chandigarh, on Tuesday morning. The club’s owners had been issued multiple notices for violating building regulations. They were instructed to rectify the deficiencies and comply with the rules within a stipulated time, but they failed to do so.
Following this, a team from the Building Branch arrived at the site and initiated the sealing operation.
The club had been facing a long-standing issue regarding violations of building codes and approved plans. Despite repeated notices, the club failed to receive satisfactory responses and compliance, leading to the decision to seal the club.
This is the same club that has previously been in the news for a major controversy. Gangsters Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara claimed responsibility for the bombings outside the club via social media.
