NSDC AND AEROSPACE & AVIATION SECTOR SKILL COUNCIL SEND LEGAL NOTICE OVER ALLEGED UNAUTHORIZED BRANDING USED BY MYFLEDGE TO MISLEAD STUDENTS

Face2News/New Delhi/Mumbai

The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has issued a legal cease-and-desist notice to Fledge Institute of Aviation & Hospitality, also operating under Myfledge, over the alleged unauthorized use of the names and logos of NSDC, Skill India, and the Aerospace & Aviation Sector Skill Council.

According to the notice dated April 16, 2026, NSDC alleged that the institute was using the branding and logos of these government-linked entities on its websites, including www.fledgeaviation.com and www.myfledge.org, in a manner that could allegedly mislead the public into believing that the institute was officially associated with or authorized by NSDC and Skill India.

The notice further stated that, as per NSDC’s records, Fledge Institute of Aviation & Hospitality is not associated with NSDC under any scheme or arrangement and is not authorized to use the name or logo of NSDC, Skill India, or the Aerospace & Aviation Sector Skill Council in any manner whatsoever.

In the legal communication, NSDC alleged that the use of these names and logos amounted to misrepresentation and passing off, potentially creating confusion among students and the general public regarding the institute’s affiliations and credentials.

The notice directed the institute to immediately: – Stop using the names and logos of NSDC, Skill India, and the Aerospace & Aviation Sector Skill Council,  Remove all references to these entities from its websites and related materials,  Disclose details of transactions allegedly carried out while presenting itself as an affiliated or associated agency, – Provide details of alleged monetary gains arising from such representations, Submit a written undertaking within seven days confirming compliance with the directives

The notice also referenced potential legal remedies under applicable Indian laws, including provisions relating to fraud, misrepresentation, and unfair competition.

As of now, there has been no public response issued by Myfledge or Fledge Institute of Aviation & Hospitality regarding the allegations mentioned in the notice.
