RAID IN LEADING HOTEL IN BARNALA: TEN COUPLE ROUNDING UP

Naresh Kumar/Barnala

In a major action, Punjab Police conducted a raid at a well-known hotel in Barnala, exposing alleged immoral activities being carried out on the premises.

According to reports, during the raid, police found around 10 couples in objectionable conditions, following which they were taken into custody for questioning. The police action created a stir in the area, as the hotel was considered a reputed establishment.

Police officials said the raid was part of an ongoing campaign against illegal and unethical activities operating under the cover of hotels. Police also began verifying the identities of those detained and checking hotel records to uncover possible violations of law.

Authorities indicated that strict action will be taken against both the hotel management and those involved if any illegal activities are confirmed. Further investigation is underway to determine whether the hotel was part of a larger network.

The incident has once again raised concerns over misuse of hotels for unlawful purposes, prompting calls for stricter monitoring and regulation across Punjab.
