Raj Sadosh/Abohar.

Rajasthan Police from Sangria arrived at Kandhwala Amarkot village to apprehend a wanted individual. They located the wanted man at a local resident’s house; however, when the police attempted to take him into custody, the homeowner, his wife, and about a dozen others scuffled with the officers and managed to free the suspect. The police subsequently lodged a complaint at the Wahabwala police station.

SHO of Wahabwala police station said that, according to the complaint filed by ASI Jaskaran Singh, Hanumangarh, Ajit Singh and Pawan Kumar (alias Kali)—both from Hanumangarh district—were wanted in a criminal case registered under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 3(5), 109(1), 117(2), 118(1), and 118(2) of the BNS. Upon learning that the suspects were in Kandhwala Amarkot, the police team arrived and discovered that Pawan Kumar (alias Kali) was at the workshop of a local resident, Rajkumar (alias Raju).

It is alleged that when the team reached the workshop and tried to apprehend Pawan Kumar, Rajkumar and his wife began shoving the officers. Rajkumar also summoned 10–12 associates, and together they scuffled with the police team. They managed to free Pawan Kumar (alias Kali) from police custody and helped him escape on a motorcycle.

Consequently, the police team lodged a complaint at the Wahabwala police station naming Pawan Kumar (alias Kali), Rajkumar (alias Raju), his wife, and 10–12 unidentified individuals under Sections 262, 263, 126(2), 121(1), 221, 132, and 191(3) of the BNS
