RESTRICTED HOLIDAY IN UT CHANDIGARH ON JAIN FESTIVAL SAMVATSARI

In a welcome and appreciable decision, the Union Territory Administration, Chandigarh has declared Restricted Leave on 15th September 2026 (Monday) on the occasion of Jain Festival Samvatsari – the Festival of Forgiveness.

This decision has been taken on the request of Vishwa Jain Sangathan, Punjab and Chandigarh Chapter.

Expressing gratitude, National President Sanjay Jain, Dr. Sandeep Kumar Jain, Chief Coordinator (Punjab & Chandigarh), Ravinder Jain, General Secretary, and Rakesh Jain, Joint Coordinator of Vishwa Jain Sangathan have thanked the Administrator, UT Chandigarh Gulab Chand Kataria and the Chief Secretary, UT Administration, Chandigarh for granting Restricted Holiday to Jain employees who wish to celebrate the sacred festival of Samvatsari.
