Raj Sadosh/Abohar.

A plantation drive was organized by the administration in the Abohar sub division administrative complex. During the event, officers and employees planted saplings and conveyed the message of environmental protection, while also encouraging people to plant as many trees as possible.

Leading the program, SDM Ravinder Singh Arora planted saplings and said that environmental protection is the greatest need of the time today. He said that to deal with the challenges of rising pollution and climate change, every person should resolve to plant trees and take care of them at their own level. Arora said that merely planting saplings is not enough; their protection and nurturing are equally necessary. He appealed to people to contribute to creating a green environment by planting as many trees as possible in their homes, institutions, and public places.

Tehsildar Maninder Singh, Naib Tehsildar Avinash Chander, along with staff of the tehsil office, also planted saplings and expressed their commitment to ensure safety of the plants.
