SWADESHI JAGRAN MANCH GIVES A CALL TO ADOPT SWADESHI, MAKE INDIA STRONG

Raj Sadosh/Abohar.

Swadeshi Jagran Manch, District Fazilka has said that in view of the current global situation, it is the biggest need of the hour to follow the path of self-reliance and Swadeshi.

District coordinator Sushil Siyag said that due to the increasing tension between the US and Iran, an energy crisis is emerging internationally. At such a time, citizens should take serious steps to save energy, fuel, and edible oil. He said that the country can be protected from potential crises only by fulfilling the Prime Minister’s appeal to the countrymen. Vishnu Bhagwan Delu, Shravan Siyag, Ricky Fazilka, Hardev Singh Gobindgarh, Mahipal Bishnoi, and Dr. Bihari Lal were present on the occasion.

Siyag said that India is a country with a tradition of renunciation and sacrifice. He recalled that in the 1960s, when the country was going through an economic crisis, people even donated their jewelry at the Prime Minister’s appeal. Similarly, during the food crisis, citizens fulfilled their responsibility to the nation by fasting one day a week. Now, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the countrymen not to buy gold for a year.

He said that India has vast potential for solar energy, wind energy, and bioenergy. If these resources are properly utilized, the country can become energy self-sufficient. Adopting indigenous products will not only strengthen the country economically but also increase employment opportunities.
