The North Zone Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament, organized by the Life Insurance Corporation of India, Karnal Division (Haryana), two days was succesfully organised at TDL Sports Complex in Panchkula. According to Arun Kumar, Sports Officer, Life Insurance Corporation of India, North Zone (Delhi), 70 male and female table tennis and badminton players from the North Zone (Rajasthan, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, Chandigarh, Punjab, and Haryana) was participating in the two-day tournament. Mrs. Veena Bisht, Regional Manager (HRD, New Delhi), North Zone, Life Insurance Corporation of India, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony function .

Mr. Pawan Kumar Ror, Senior Divisional Manager, Karnal Division (Haryana), and Mr. Rajbir Singh Ranga, District Sports Officer, Panchkula, were special guests of honours . Mrs.Veena bisht & Mr.Pawan kumar ror give blessings & congratulations to Winners players of boths category Men’s & Womens category in Badminton& Table Tennis. They was give blessings & good wishes to winning players to represented North zone boths men & Womens Badminton & Table Tennis for upcoming All india Tournament.

Mr. Ashwani Kumar Malhotra, Personnel Manager, Karnal Division and Overall Incharge of the tournament was presided over the Closing Ceremony function. on this occassion occasion were Mr. Deepak Das and Ms. Neetu Ahluwalia, boths members of the Sports Promotion Board, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Mr. Chandra Prakash Nandwani, Mrs. Anusha Bagga, Mr. Jagdish Baketia, Mr. Sunil Kumar Sachdeva,Sh.Vikas Mehta,Mr.Mandhir Chauhan, Mrs.Vicky Madaan, Mr.Bharath Bhushan, Mr.Veer bhan, Mr.Sanjay Sharma, Mr.Ajay Sharma & Mr.Amarjit Kumar were also Present.

Final Results = Table Tennis Women’s Results 1st place =Ripu Daman of Jalandhar Division
2nd Place=Trisha Verma of Bikaner. 3rd Place =Anita Agnihotri of Delhi . 4th place =Rekha Khullar of Delhi

Tennis Men’s Results = 1st place =Vijesh Saini of Delhi . 2nd Place = Ram Singh of Bikaner , 3rd place =Dev Bhushan of Shimla, 4th place =Prem Chand of Chandigarh.
