THE “SAAM DAAM DAND BHED” POLICY WILL NOT WORK IN PUNJAB: SANDEEP JAKHAR

MLA Sandeep Jakhar today made serious allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government regarding the Mayor elections here. He said that by disregarding the dignity of democracy, an attempt was made openly by the ruling party to loot the people’s mandate during the Mayor elections yesterday, which was foiled due to the promptness and unity of the opposition.

He said that every effort was made to influence the results of the MC elections with the connivance of AAP leaders and administrative officials. But his team remained completely adamant on its demands. He said that under the able leadership of BJP Ex-State President Sunil Jakhar, all the BJP workers and leaders fought bravely. This struggle continued till late night, before which the administration and the government finally had to bow down. Cancelling this controversial election attempt, it was announced that this election would now be conducted again.

Sandeep Jakhar said that this AAP, which is controlled from Delhi, wants to impose the politics of Saam Daam Dand Bhed in Punjab. He warned that aware people will not tolerate such bullying and dictatorship on the soil of Punjab at any cost. Delhi’s dirty policies will never be allowed to continue here. Jakhar said that administrative officials should not come under any political pressure to murder of democracy. He made it clear that his entire team will keep a close watch on the re-election and if any manipulation is tried again, it will be opposed even more strongly.
