Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today bid his farewell to the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, predicting this to be his last Vidhan Sabha session.

He said, the Aam Aadmi Party was likely to implode very soon with the government losing its majority as many MLAs are just waiting for the opportune moment which is not very far.

“At no cost Mann is going to complete his tenure”, Warring claimed, saying even if the Punjab Vidhan Sabha elections are held on schedule in February 2027, Mann will not be the Chief Minister till then.

The PCC president disclosed that most of the AAP MLAs are completely alienated and disillusioned with their own government. For four and a half years they have felt suffocated and they are now waiting for the breather.

He said that despite having a massive mandate, the AAP government failed not only the people of Punjab, but even their own legislators. He said, Mann has proved to be the worst ever Chief Minister Punjab had, for which they will never forgive him.

“Unfortunately Mann could not make the difference that his stage had changed and he was no longer required to survive through narrating jokes and anecdotes”, he said, telling him, “people of Punjab had not elected you to make them laugh, for that they already had enough of your comedy”.

They had elected you with great hope and expectations of “badlaav” (change). Instead, you surrendered all your authority to outsiders while guarding your Chief Ministerial chair, for which you sacrificed the interests of Punjab. “History will never forgive you for that”, he told Mann.
