Goa Chief Minister Pramod Pandurang Sawant has described “The Light” as one of the most impressive movies and said it deserved to be watched by all. At the 54th India International Film Festival held in Goa, the movie ” The Light ” was widely loved and appreciated due to its unique concept and cinematography.
Dada Lekhraj Kripalani, founder of Brahmakumaris is lovingly remembered as “Brahma Baba”, his life story is derived from the book “Ek Adbhut Jeevan Kahani” penned by Jagdish Chander.
Shoojit Sircar, creative producer of the movie, said, “I produced so many movies but this bio feature amazed me. Brahma Kumaris organisation is working hard to make women empowerment a reality. This animation movie is indeed worth watching.”
(SUBHEAD)Prasad Ajgaonkar, who gave the movie a realistic touch by animation said that the story of “The Light” revolves around Baba Lekhraj's life, how an affluent diamond merchant who gave away all his wealth and property to a Trust aiming to empower women as well as spread awareness of human values.
Producer BK Harilal Bhanushali thanked the audience besides IFFI, NDFC, Goa Entertainment Society and the creative team comprising BK Sushil, BK Aparna and BK Shikha.
Brahmakumaris additional chief BK Jayanti said that by this movie spiritual enthusiasts will quench their thirst of exploring spirituality.
Sagar Jawdekar, Editor, Tarun Bharat, Govind Gaude Goa Minister of Art and Culture also watched and appreciated the movie.
Goa minister Sripad Naik said that among all the movies which have been featured at IFFI, “The Light” won my heart and I must say such types of movies should be watched by the masses, so that they can take along some spiritual message.
