Face2News/Chandigarh

The orders for the promotion of 395 PGT in Sanskrit have finally been issued in Haryana after years of anticipation.

These Sanskrit teachers had been awaiting their promotions since 2007. Following this decision by the government, Haryana State Sanskrit Teachers' Association, under the leadership of State President Sh. Ramprasad Kaushik, along with officers and Sanskrit teachers from across the state, expressed their gratitude to the School Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal, by visiting his residence.

The Education Minister said that Sanskrit is the mother of all languages, in which the knowledge of our Vedas, Upanishads and other religious texts is written. It will always be the endeavour of the State Government that this knowledge reaches the people. Those who have educational qualifications like Shiksha Shastri and Acharya in Sanskrit language have more grip than other people.

He emphasised the need to further promote the Sanskrit language, considering it a scientific language widely acknowledged worldwide, predicting it to become the language of the world.
