Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad, renowned for his sincere dedication to Sikh affairs, has demanded a thorough investigation into the incident involving the violation of Sri Akal Takht Sahib's dignity during the sacred celebration of 'Bandi Chhor Diwas' and Diwali. He emphatically stated that appropriate religious action should be taken against those responsible.

Expressing deep regret over the Nihang Singh man forcibly taking the microphone and undermining the solemnity of the event at Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Peer Mohammad appealed to Singh Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Harpreet Singh Jathedar Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami to conduct an impartial investigation. The aim is to safeguard the dignity of Sri Akal Takht Sahib in future occurrences.

Only the Jathedar Sahib of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, along with the other four Singh Singh Sahibs, has the authority to address the revered Takht Sahib. To offer their opinions or suggestions regarding the Sikh Panth, individuals must submit them in writing to the Hon'ble Singh Sahibs, ' he told.

He further appealed for proper action to be taken in accordance with religious traditions, ensuring that sectarian forces do not tarnish the dignity of the Supreme Shri Akal Takht Sahib and the Sikh Panth. Peer Mohammad acknowledged the assurance from the Singh Sahibans and the SGPC President regarding a fair investigation and necessary actions.

This case of ethical violation is of utmost significance, and stringent measures need to be taken to address it effectively.
