(SUBHEAD)Speaking on the occasion Mr S.K.Rai, Vice Chairman, Hero Cycles Ltd explained the growing importance of innovation in manufacturing. In his words “If our manufacturing enterprises have to grow and scale up to meet global market demand, innovation is an absolute necessity.”

Mr Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman, Hero Enterprise and MBCIE stated that Innovation is the lifeblood of progress and success in today's fast-paced and ever-changing world. It is the driving force that propels organizations to new heights, allowing them not just to survive but to thrive. The world around us is evolving at an unprecedented pace, and the challenges we face are as dynamic as they are complex. To thrive in such an environment, innovation is not a choice; it's a necessity.

It is the spark that ignites creativity, the engine of growth, and the source of competitive advantage. At the heart of innovation lies the power of ideas. Every great innovation starts with a single spark of creativity, and we must encourage and celebrate these sparks, for they have the potential to change the course of our organization and, indeed, the world.

Mr Richard Scutt, Head, STEAMhouse, BCU.Uk brought with him a wealth of experience, having spent over two decades fostering innovation and supporting startups in UK. Leading the discussions, Mr Scutt said Innovation is not just about moments of inspiration; it's about creating an environment where these moments can flourish. A culture of innovation is one where all voices are heard, where collaboration is nurtured, and where taking risks is not just accepted but encouraged. As leaders, it is our responsibility to champion innovation. He quoted many case studies to drive home the point that we must live it, breathe it, and lead by example. An unwavering support is essential in empowering the teams to take risks, to experiment, and to embrace change.

The Masterclass witnessed active participation from a diverse group, including members of prominent organizations such as CII (Confederation of Indian Industry), FICO (Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organizations), CICU (Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings), and various business clusters. The event also drew enthusiastic participation from startups, entrepreneurs, and students eager to explore new avenues of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Concluding the Discussion, Dr Prem Kumar, Executive Director, MBCIE stated that while innovation is not without its challenges and that change can be met with resistance, it's in these challenges that we find opportunities. Effective communication, education, and persistence can help overcome these obstacles. Recognizing and rewarding innovators is equally important. By celebrating the contributions, we not only motivate teams but inspire others to follow their lead.
