ARMY CONDUCTED ESM RALLY AT HISAR MILITARY STATION

Dot on Target Division of Sapta Shakti Command conducted an Ex-servicemen Rally at Hisar Military Station on Wednesday. The event extended its services to over 2200 veterans residing in 10 districts of Haryana namely Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jhajjar, Jind, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Rohtak and Sirsa. 

Major General Ashish Shah, General Officer Commanding, Dot on Target Division while addressing the gathering conveyed his gratitude to the Veterans for their invaluable service to the Nation and stressed upon them to continue their wholehearted support in Nation building. 

The Ex-servicemen rally featured a poignant moment as 09 Veer Naris were honored with Shradhanjali Patra, symbolizing the immense respect for their sacrifices. The Army had established numerous grievance resolution stalls for spot assistance to the veterans.

Representatives from various Ex-servicemen agencies such as Directorate of Indian Army Veterans (DIAV), Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO), Defence Pension Disbursing Office (DPDO) and Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) were in attendance, shedding light on the benefits available to Ex-servicemen through government schemes. Leading banks including SBI, PNB, ICICI, AXIS and HDFC had also set up stalls to address the issues of Veterans. 

The event was successful in resolving a large No of grievances by representatives from Record Offices and also health care issues by a team of medical officers through the medical camp. The rally exemplified the Indian Army's commitment in supporting and serving those who have dedicated their lives to the Nation.
