Setting a noble example on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, children of Nanak Nagari Street-4 organised a cleanliness campaign. Impressed by their initiative Municipal Corporation Mayor Vimal Thatai reached there and honored them.

Due to Monday being a holiday, all the children of the street were at home, who together decided to make the street clean. Some children picked up the broom and others took up the mortar. Within no time they not only cleaned the entire street but also washed the same using water.

This step was widely praised by the residents and parents. When the Mayor came to know about this from the viral video on social media, he himself reached there, issued an appreciation letter to the children and honoured them. He said that other children should take inspiration from these children and make their surroundings clean.
