Efforts are being made by the district administration to keep the children of the families camping in the relief centers due to the flood in the border villages of Fazilka stress free.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal reached the relief camp of Hastan Kalan village and distributed indoor sports equipment to the kids besides arranging studies for the school-going children.

(SUBHEAD)The DC said that children's minds can be adversely affected by such conditions, so indoor games such as Ludo and Carrom board etc. were given to the children in order to set their hearts in a new place and involve them in various activities.

Dr. Duggal interacted with the women and asked them about the facilities available here. She said that as soon as the water recedes, these people will be able to reach their homes.

MLA Narinder Pal Singh Sawna asked people not to panic. He said that if some people are still left in the houses and want to come out, then the administration will leave no stone unturned in bringing them to the relief camp.
